The Marketing Journey
Ian Brown’s career in marketing started with a passion for understanding consumer behavior and driving tangible outcomes for brands. His career was marked by a series of roles that spanned from field marketing to performance marketing across industries, each role adding a new layer to his expertise.
However, Ian noticed a recurring challenge: most marketing strategies prioritized brand fundamentals without addressing the crucial bottom-of-the-funnel activity. This created tense agency relationships as design-forward campaigns failed to deliver on growth promises. The strategy often lacked the data necessary to convert it into real revenue growth. This gap inspired Ian to create something different—an agency that started at the bottom of the funnel and leveraged insights used to drive growth to inform brand and positioning.
